The E1 series from Acer lures customers with excellent specifications for the money but as aTime there is a snag .... Think before you buy this laptop because it is not Windows 7 can run, ie there are no Win7 drivers available for USB3.0 and 8670M video card! Built-5400RPM 500GB hard drive makes the laptop very slow so consider an SSD. Battery life is not particularly , about three hours in power saving mode. Not really an achievement for a laptop with a processor with a TDP of 17W. I have the laptop already three days in succession, but if it were possible, I did not hesitate long to return the laptop and choose one that does Widows 7 provides support for Windows 8 for me is a no-go.
