Dell Inspiron 1300

A real budget device that you should expect any miracles, but what reasonably can handle not too demanding applications. I bought this Dell Inspiron 1300 because a while back with stunte on its website and for 530 euros inc. VAT (sending was free) the cheapest base model was what I could find. When I attacked me three things on him for the first time turned 1.) The contrast and viewing angle of the panel are not very good. at the slightest movement of your head you see all color difference and the colors are anything but natural. Blue is strongly present and especially red tones do not seem to come. goes to work Furthermore, the screen properly suffer from backlight bleeding at the bottom and you can see that when you watch a dvd in a nice lit room (in a completely dark). With no black backgrounds backlight problem is not too bad. Games? well, there's no dedicated graphics chip in this thing, and because the screen nice ghost and lubricates you are in that area actually do with this thing. The maximum brightness of the screen is good, t'is no true life screen, but hey, you get what you pay for. 2.) the speaker, I was positively surprised by the volume of what came out. That does not mean that you are listening to good music, but look for a dvdje you will never have enough volume. 3.) low noise, occasionally blowing fan (not on the side of your hand happy) but that is but softly. Building the laptop is reasonable. The plastic is pretty sturdy but not indestructible. However, is the plastic at the edges of the screen is very loose and you can easily pull away with your fingers. Yet this laptop just built slightly firmer than the budget models eg acer. The keyboard is good and solid, it does not shrink when you press the buttons in the center. Also, it is full, there are no keys omitted or so. Furthermore, you can display confidence clap without having to be that damaging your screen. Bang One drawback is the prewar LEDs, which look just does not matter, looks like the lights of a 80 pc. About the quality of the hinge for the screen, I can not say much, need em before even test some more, but as yet is not he too tight, but certainly not too loose. A setback is the connections that are available on this inspiron, it is really quite minimal. only 3x USB, modem, Ethernet, VGA, mic in, headphone out, and an expansion slot (no PCMCIA) Everything is on the left, so if you have multiple USB / audio / connect VGA devices will be a busy bunch over there. For 11 euro extra buy dell in the slightly better battery that came with this laptop fit and that is definitely recommended as the better just 3 hours of battery life with light use. Watch a DVD just not quite succeed, looking at 1.5 hours, the battery is drained. Bit disappointing, but really bad you can not call it back. With the hardware is further okay, t'is always having to wait and see what parts dell used in your order. The hard drive is 5400 RPM and that is an advantage over the slower laptop drives that are in many other budget models. The processor performs ok and the wireless function suits me very well. not yet 1x a dropped connection, and the range is excellent, wireless is stable. Basically, for not much demanding user who has no problem with a weak screen ghosting and just looking for a no frills cheap laptop it is not a bad choice. If I could choose again, I'd do by saving more for a budget asus and I would Inspiron 1300 only recommend to others when dell with it stunt on their website because of the non-ridiculous price you anyway just get better products in the same price range. enneh oh yeah ... this is my first survey, so responses with tips etc. are welcome
