Actually, I'm not a fan Acer (understatement), but after some positive reviews but still bought because of the price / quality ratio. Fair is fair, for that money you currently buy no equivalent laptop from another brand. He is silent, it is not too hot and looks pretty nice. Only downside is the (3rd) USB port next to the DVD drive, because there is very close. Drivers for XP are quite hard to find because it is not (more) supported by Acer. Of course it is advisable to install the PC again or Acer unnecessary junk off him, so that the performance increases. Vista performance index for this machine is 4.7. Despite my prejudices, I have no regrets ... until now.
