Players control the god Baldur, who, together with a computer-controlled army soldiers battle against the hordes of enemies that wander around the huge levels. The game starts with choosing a specialization, with five different options, with names like Berserker, Commando and Champion. Each specialization has its own strengths and weaknesses, but regardless of your choice gets Baldur a melee weapon and a firearm which he may let off steam. In particular, the control of that initial weapon is remarkable, because the right analog stick is used to indicate the direction in which to strike Baldur.
