Overall
I bought this laptop a day-offer and now a week now in possession. The model is a bit older and so are the specs less (June 2009), but the price was also at:. 330 euros The first noticeable change is the size of the laptop. Larger than normal. Slap you open it you're right you first advantage: a large (15.4 inch) screen (not widescreen). Nutrition is fairly small and the keyboard is a bit around (ergonomic?). For the rest, it looks a little stand out;. As you would expect from Acer Hardware Intel Celeron 585 (! so no dual core) running fine for most applications. Expect no turbo boost. Vista (included) runs fine, but after installation of Symantec anti-virus is it still slower. Perhaps still on XP or Symantec off. Memory is less (1GB) but expandable. Video card is shared and standard gobbles these 64 mb. on. 'm Not going to play with here
