Through my college I would buy all the necessary software installed. laptop initially Due to lack of interest in the laptop project, I had to go looking for a good laptop itself. I knew I would have, because I need to be able to run properly Matlab, Inventor and other such programs and a number of years to go. Bring a "more expensive" laptop needed I looked at a number of brands which I had heard good things heard. These were: Sony's Vaio, IBM's T4X series, Dell, HP (choice of school). I assumed that you have a nice deal with these brands could close, but that was not to be. In terms of price / performance, I was almost like all contact Acer's laptops. Considering the features, power and beautiful design caught my eye on the Ferrari. First impression Bought at PC Megastore, because I've bought things from them before and was very impressed (read: I) with the service, friendliness, overall impression and prices. As I was used to, the whole package was very well packed. Boxes opened and the first thought was "wow, this is beautiful!" Battery connected, turned on, language selection made (Eng, Fra ... or Ned went Scary because I'm Scottish ) and the laptop to its course. During installation I watched the ingoud of the box and saw that it was well stocked. Ferrai BT mouse, sorts CDs, RJ11 cable, special dtofdoekje and the obvious MS Windows XP book. There was also the manual, warranty, and other little things to find. Achievements As I wanted to know how fast it was compared to my PC about booting, loading games etc and soon came to the conclusion that the hard drive would be better specimen had a 7200rpm should be. With a seek time of 12.5 ms, and (for a laptop otherwise fine) 5400rpm I found it easily fast enough. As expected, the performance in all other areas where HD speed is not essential, to name just fine. Ergonomics & Usability and Ergonomics is completely top it all I can say is that my windows key is hypersensitive. Laptop I will return again to Acer for a new keyboard. User might be a strange word to use, but I hereby mean you do not get cramps too long typing, laptop or on your lap and therefore not too hot and the screen is simply perfect (no dead pixels!). Especially at 1680 * 1050 is a true delight. Watching movies is also very good, but I usually use headphones because the little laptop speakers are not sufficient for this.
