With these settings, the game is perfectly playable with full FPS that the monitor has to offer. Moreover runs GTA IV also fine on the macbook at that resolution, but also while you have the settings or throw down what to do. not a bad FPS Do we have to not go too much to expect from the macbook, GTA IV remains a resource eater. really accurate benchmarks I did not, all I know is that I am more than satisfied with the performance. Mac you must enter your password when editing files from root. No more fucked by dragging files from root to non-root and vice versa, as I had with ubuntu in the beginning. However, you must activate your root account. just like ubuntu, I did this using some commands in terminal that I had looked through google. However, root access, the normal user is not necessary. I myself use root privileges for PHP development. text editor if I use the Netbeans IDE ungainly, which is convenient for java but too clumsy for PHP. Really good but other simple text editors I have not found it yet. Battery The battery in this macbook is a miracle in itself: it goes to 7 hours, according to the Apple website. My personal record is not at 7 am, but that is simply because I use my laptop continuously. My record is just over 5 hours, which I was busy listening to music, the screen brightness was quite high and I was busy with firefox and netbeans IDE to write. Java's Heat and noise even during gaming is this laptop is incredibly quiet. The fan you hear or run, but it's certainly not a loud disturbing noise. It's more of a subtle buzz. So if you bootcamp going to use: install windows XP for the best experience. recently I found out that the switch between the 9600M GT and 9400M GT is not automatically going as I had understood from the stories of the local apple store: the switch is via a checkbox in System Preferences estimated to at least four mouse clicks. Also, you need to login to use another chip which you so all you have to close programs.
