[Update 1-09-07] This laptop is still in daily use. Battery still keep it full well. 2.5 hours always in the economy mode. Performance with WinXP and 2 gig internally perfect. Nothing is broken and gone wonky my daughter 2 years sometimes "with type". My next laptop is an Asus again, but not yet. With the ATI X1600 video card I can still ff ahead with some games. [End Update] Fantastic machine! Just only one day in use, have after much deliberation enveel surf the ASUS blindly ordered online. Two days later at home and what I'm happy about it. Wonderful screen, no problems with the glossy. Super performance, the laptop is running Oblivion without problems in high quality 1024 * 768 and I have not even checked if he could later! keyboard is fine, as is the complete and good working software. Not too much stuff on it yippee-yum, simply complete good working machine. Also metjes bag, mouse and all install CDs there. Accu is long enough, somewhere between 2 and 3 hours with a lot of work installing and testing games. I expect big 3-4 hours in economy mode. Buy!
