The Asus M51VA is a pleasant laptop that much "bang for a buck" offers. I ended up an excel-based trade-off of it: All features off against each other, giving scores and calculate a weighted average based on what features I liked the most. Asus won. Ordering, wait and unpacking the M51VA was delivered in a sturdy box-in-box packaging. The whole was wrapped tightly causing transport damage can be avoided.:)

All of you may be wondering what the point is of the latest little additions, for me, often it is the little things that make unpacking just what fun ... I call it service Appearance and Construction The cover is glossy black, with a gray dotted wave pattern. The Asus logo adorns chrome in the center of the valve. The disadvantage of such a glossy cover is that this one is filled in no time with fingers and tiny scratches. I have a month or so sustained to temper all the fingers off to polish with the included "cleaning cloth" but it's mopping with the tap. A definite weakness are the tabs on the hinges have to cover, the right cover is very off easily so the underlying wires become exposed. Conversely, it is not difficult to push back the cover. On top of the valve is the 1.3 megapixel camera, which provides a reasonable picture, the microphone and a light sensor that adjusts the screen brightness are on the amount of ambient light.
