Black Phone: smartphone made on privacy

The smartphone is by far the most intimate device in our lives through services such as SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter and a capable browser, you can get an excellent idea, based on the use of a smartphone of one's life - and perhaps one's intimate fears and thoughts.

Not many people will have discussed the risks that it entails that a device with so much data when you wear, the security is relatively undeveloped. The revelations of whistleblower Edward Snowden has changed that for some people: they are now thinking much more than first privacy and security of their data.

For those people Silent Circle, makes the company PGP creator Phil Zimmerman, along with the Spanish Geeks Phone a separate telephone: Black Phone. It is a modern smartphone with Android, but completely focused on privacy and security.

The most striking was perhaps that came during the presentation at Mobile World Congress a KPN top woman on stage; Jaya Baloo said KPN over other providers to privacy and that next year hundreds of thousands of Black Headphones wants to sell. That should happen in June, when the Black Phone comes out.

Why exactly KPN first Black Phone will sell? "I am personally very passionate about. It is important that users have their own privacy in their hand. It's not about what you want to hide, but what you want to share." The provider is the phone no budget or midrange model making. "It is a premium smartphone, in the class of an iPhone or Galaxy S."
