Desktop power in a laptop: Nvidia's GTX 765m and 780M

Haswell Intel and Nvidia's GeForce 700 series have been released a while ago and both chips we have already written quite some. The mobile GeForce chips are there still remained underexposed. Therefore, we tested two gaming laptops BTO. One is equipped with mobile GeForce GTX 765m and other features flagship GTX 780M. Both laptops are powered by a quad-core Haswell processor. We look using different benchmarks and games how GPUs relate to each other and see which video cards for desktops also with the two mobile video cards to compare. We hold the course, not only in desktop graphics cards, but where possible, draw the comparison with other mobile GPUs.

The BTO laptops are both barebones , meaning that the "shell" of the laptop is used by several laptop manufacturers, but different internal hardware can be provided. Both barebones come from manufacturer Clevo. The 17CL58 has W370ST the Clevo chassis, while the 17CL56 is based on the Clevo P170SM housing. A laptop with almost the same case as the latter reviewden we once before in the form of XNB Titan IV17. The BTO laptops from a generation ago, then with Ivy Bridge and GeForce 600 hardware, we have previously been reviewed . Because of the similarities between the cases we look at this review, therefore, mainly to the performance of the new GPUs and we will not elaborate on the other features of the laptops.
