Lenovo Thinkpad X61s (UK43KMH)

For my work I use since a year or so, the Lenovo X61s. This ultra-compact notebook is easy to carry and I use at my workplace in a Thinkpad X6 UltraBase docking station. Features Features were called for a laptop of this size very well. The processor is economical and long lasting battery goes. It is a pity that there is no real video card fits into such a small laptop, so I have to do with the Intel X3100. That is unfortunate but acceptable since this laptop is for business purposes. And it is the battery-life certainly benefit. Image Quality This is more than sufficient. The screen is quite bright. For use from the front office applications and this is draw poker sufficient and need it to be. Did not experience as a nuisance The native resolution is 1024x768. Connection to a Dell E198FP monitor with 1280x1024 resolution delivers sharp colorful images. The video output will get a very satisfactory to good. Design The design I have nothing to criticize. This laptop looks sturdy and can take a beating. Price The price was at the time of purchase (mid-2008) at around 1100 euro. Best acceptable when you consider that this device is small, but works as a great. Conclusion A very good laptop. This laptop is great for people who travel frequently or are looking for a general system for business use. This unit has never let me down. For private use, I would not have bought this laptop because of the modest graphics card.
