I have the Motorola Moto X white variant, since a few days in succession. As is known, this unit is not available in the Netherlands and I have mine delivered from our neighboring Germany for the price of 360 euros including delivery. I have ordered an Unlocked / Unbranded phone and everything works properly with my T-mobile SIM card. Below I will take into consideration a number of issues that are important to me. Design Outside the U.S. Moto Maker is not (yet) available, and I could choose from black and white. As I said, I chose the white version, which I am very happy afterwards. I've always had black and white phones I was worried that the device 'cheap' would do. Nothing is less true. The unit feels sturdy and is finished perfectly. The weight is a bit on the heavy side, but this unit is just nice in the hand. In terms of design, I am very satisfied. Ease The Moto X is installed with the latest version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat. I had always Android and this is where I speak. Motorola has chosen to give some apps like Motorola Migrate, Drive, Yet Less control etc. My view, no bloatware, but only useful additions without the OS feels heavy and slow with all kinds of skins. Smoothes the OS Speaking of useful additions, the Moto X is equipped with 'Active Display. This to me is so convenient that I can not live without. With Active Display lets you view the time and notifications without unlocking. How often I have not had to unlock to view. Useless WhatsApp a group message my old galaxy That is now history. Furthermore, the Moto X equipped with Touchless Control and can carry out simple tasks with your voice without having to unlock the phone! Screen The 4.7 inch screen is a nice size for me. The well-known 5-inch screens in the high end phones like the Nexus 5 for me just a little too big. I like convenience and want the device to operate with one hand. In addition, energy-efficient AMOLED so the battery life and the concept of Active Display is possible. The 720p AMOLED screen has a nice contrast and colors are vibrant. My previous phone had an AMOLED screen which I struggled to read in direct sunlight. Here I have the Moto X strangely still had no problems, apparently because the picture is brighter. Battery Life Battery life is fine. At the end of the day I'm sitting at 50% with moderate use. With moderate use, I mean Whatsapp, Facebook, Email, navigate, etc. I do not play games on. My predecessor, the Galaxy S2, I had to use the same at the beginning of the evening charge and I was glad when I came through the day. Camera With 10MP rear camera can shoot in 1080p resolution and take great photos. The autofocus works very fine and movies look beautiful with the DOF effect. You can make very nice pictures in daylight, thanks to the HDR mode. In the evening in low light photos are a bit disappointing to me. The LED flash is a bit on the weak side. Conclusion All in all a complete phone that perfectly fits my needs. For 360 euros I got a phone that works smoothly and easily reach the end of the day without me worried there to make. Hoof Motorola has clearly put the focus on ease of use rather than hard specs. Additions such as Active Display have become indispensable to me. A true progress compared to my Samsung Galaxy S2. * UPDATE * I have been able to play some more. using the camera One feature that I had not yet discovered, is making rapid multiple photos in succession. A kind of burst mode. This burst mode you can activate by holding your finger on the screen and you will see a surge counter that the number of pictures taken displays. Handy if you choose. Afterwards your best shot , see the pictures in the link for an impression of the
