Introduction: a different galaxy
It is a term that can be interpreted in several ways: design language , the idea that different products from the same manufacturer are designed with the same idea. Nokia does that, for example, with its Lumia's, and LG has largely the same design for its L-phones and expensive Optimus G models. The manufacturer, however, this has made the furthest is Samsung.
After the Galaxy S III was unveiled, with its gleaming 'hyperglaze'-back, round shapes, metal rim on the side and elliptical home button below the screen, Samsung announced many models that look the same in different formats: the Galaxy Note II, Galaxy Grand, Galaxy Prime Galaxy S III Mini and the new Galaxy Note 8.0, Galaxy Express, Galaxy and Galaxy Fame Young. The confusion extends to employees at the Samsung booth at the Mobile World Congress. A state employee who easily talked about technical details such as the difference in microarchitecture processors, told enthusiastic about the 4G phone Galaxy Express, after which he was only at the model number on the settings screen found out that he gave the demonstration with a Galaxy S III. Only a slight difference in size, and the position of the front camera and sensors above the screen are an indication that the S III is not Express.
However, we found at the booth of Samsung Galaxy a phone that looks totally different: the Galaxy Xcover 2. That is a separate model, it is shockproof and dustproof, and can be kept one meter under water for half an hour. After Xcover Samsung comes with a year ago, so again with 'builders smartphone, but it is but a solid phone also an attractive handset?
