Introduction
I was looking for a nice, not too big, notebook. After comparing several models I have the Toshiba Satellite U300-12S purchased. Among the competitors were:
XXODD Xni 720sr
Especially the hot pink looks good. The piano makes it different than standard laptops. The 12.1 "screen, but I found too small.
Sony VGN-CR11S / W
This was my favorite until I saw him at the store in person. Then this notebook less beautiful than the pictures. As if it is made of a cheap kind of plastic. And the price was a few hundred dollars higher.
Medion AG MD 96414
Boring. That says everything about this laptop. Inexpensively.
Asus A8He
This also seemed like a good laptop. That that it has not become, actually only by the dimensions. The Asus is in fact, the 14 "screen, slightly larger than the Toshiba.
Appearance
Maybe a little strange for a cup Tweakers.net review. notebook I ordered online and therefore not seen in real life. What came out of the box was not disappointing. A beautiful shiny black (in sommig light is the deep dark blue) device. The keys and surrounding areas are in the same silvery color which gives a quiet and luxurious look. The Toshiba feels solid, the screen is secure, and it is easy to open and close. What I find useful is that the connectors on the side and front to sit and not at the back (except for the food).
In this image, the buttons appear whiter than they actually are. use the notebook is mainly used for Internet (IE and Firefox). In addition, I installed iTunes and OpenOffice. All programs run smoothly and quickly. I do have some of the included programs installed and removed as much as possible (Toshiba) updates. The keyboard type good and all keys are in a logical place. The weight is about 2 kg, so it can easily be included. The laptop is quiet, the fan turn it regularly for a few seconds, and is called nowhere. I can take more than two hours work when the battery is fully charged. Conclusion It seems almost an advertisement for this Toshiba notebook and that's because I'm very happy with it just there. Anyone can read the specification itself that everything on it is. What you only know if you have it purchased, is that the laptop looks good and it is nice to work.
