Introduction: a family with brothers
In the telecom sector, the word 'family' increasingly falls. And no, that is not because there is increasing chatted about the private lives of those involved, but because smartphones are increasingly part of a line of products with different sizes and price ranges, but it does look the same. Manufacturers like to call it a "family", thus a cheaper model quickly became a "little brother" is mentioned.
A well-known family in smartphone area is obviously the Galaxy S4 line of Samsung, containing, according to the manufacturer, in order of screen sizes from small to large: the S4 Mini, S4 Zoom, S4 Active, regular S4 and Mega 6.3. They all share the same design and many of the same features, though there are major differences between the 'family'.
HTC also has lines of phones, but they are not real families. There is the Desire series, which has been running since 2010 in the first Desire came out and which is now known by numbers. The One series with the One X, One S, One SV and One X + are not really family, but with the One and the One mini seems HTC finally a name and design to equalize.
The Mini One is a little bit smaller than the One, but mostly cheaper and stripped of some elements, such as optical image stabilization and the infrared transmitter. It is nevertheless a small One and the unit is worth?
