Sony Vaio VGN-FZ11S

I'm now 3 days in the house, my Sony Vaio FZ11S. After 3 years of very intense to have worked on my HP Pavilion zd7000 I had in the beginning to get used to the size of the screen, but honestly know I now hardly better. What a wonderful machine this is! After reading the hardware configuration is probably already clear that it is a pretty fast laptop, and that he is in practice quite true. Gaming (I'm not a heavy gamer, with me in it remains an occasional game of San Andreas similar), movies decoding, graphics editing, everything is effortless and fast, and if you want to multi-task even simultaneously with the T7100 processor, the GeForce 8400 GT and 2Gb RAM. I am very pleased with the design of this Vaio, but that's a matter of taste. The case is quite sturdy and the hinges, the buttons, the touchpad and the keyboard, the only comment I can make is about the black plastic on which rest your wrists while typing, which feels a bit thin on. Not necessarily weak, but compared to the rest of the construction of the laptop had slightly thicker bit more intense, I feel. All buttons feel very sturdy when you press them but do not go too heavy and are all in the right place, exactly where you expect them. I also find it very nice that they all do what you expect when you lay them pressed on my old HP they only do if they themselves had the sense ... The screen is very sharp and clear, as you can expect. Sony The webcam and microphone both work much better than I expected. With 640x480 and 30fps, this cam same specifications as my 'external' logitech webcam, but what a difference! The image is sharp, the colors are beautiful, even if I only have a lamp on in the room. Both microphone and webcam worked flawlessly from the first time I used msn messenger and skype. , the sound coming from the built-in speakers I do not really fantastic, but it is acceptable and just hard enough (max volume). In terms of notebook stand the sound quality will be fixed above average, but yes, in my HP Pavilion sat Harman Kardon speakers and sound is just hard to beat .... I think the laptop get a little warmer than I expected, but definitely not abnormal . Even if I'm late to work hard he remains very quiet, which is a relief after a pentium4 notebook. I work almost always when I'm plugged in, so battery life for me is not so important, but I Last night it looked a dvdtje while I was in the bath and that he loved fine full 1.5 hours on battery power. Wireless lan, blue tooth, USB sync with my Windows Mobile device, even all this works flawlessly. Altogether I very happy with my new notebook. I am very aware of this Vaio chosen after comparing virtually all available in the Netherlands similar machines, and I'm now sure that I will work in the coming years (I buy every 3 years a new notebook, here with pleasure and work there about 50 hours a week on it). I continue to be amazed at how much what you get for your money, they would become a little crazy there with Sony perhaps ..? 1200 euro for these specifications, looks and feel, I think a really good price, this is my first review, so please be kind ... I have deliberately not technically made it, but if anyone would like more specific information, feel free to ask ! edit: I have today after about half a year screwed my FZ open and some pictures of the inside. From the outside are enough pictures on the internet I thought photograph 3 is easy to see how after six months (intensive) use, the fan looks like the real reason to unscrew my Vaio. Between the heatsink and the fan is also a nice blanket fabric, something perhaps less well seen. A how-to tutorial and detailed pictures to follow soon. edit2: I have anyway decided my how-to- notebookreview.com tutorial on putting so different language FZ owners also have to have something
